TY - JOUR AU - Stemplowski, Ryszard PY - 2015/03/30 Y2 - 2024/03/28 TI - Kategoria "suwerenność" w analizie światosystemowej (komunikat o badaniach w toku, 15.12.2014) JF - Horyzonty Polityki JA - HP VL - 6 IS - 14 SE - ARTYKUŁY TEMATYCZNE / THEMATIC ARTICLES DO - UR - https://horyzontypolityki.ignatianum.edu.pl/HP/article/view/166 SP - 137-159 AB - W komunikacie zostały zawarte niektóre z tymczasowych ustaleń dokonanych na kolejnym etapie moich badań mających na celu uwspółcześnienie pojmowania kategorii „suwerenność” i jej pomocnicze zastosowanie do określania statusu państwa w światosystemie współczesnym. Zawiera on także rozważania o przypadku specjalnym: statusie państwa członkowskiego w UE. The article reports some preliminary findings of my ongoing research project aimed at updating our understanding of ‘sovereignty’ in order that it can help define the status of the State in the contemporary world system. It also considers the special case of the status of a member-state in the EU. It further investigates how ‘sovereignty’ fits together with the categories of the (state) political system and the structure of the world system. The article suggests the precise criteria for a classification of a State according to whether it enjoys sovereignty, lacks sovereignty, or enjoys curtailed sovereignty (either radically or in relative terms). It analyses the thesis of the indivisibility of sovereignty of an EU member-state, taking into account the principle of conferral and the institution of notification. The closing remarks offer some suggestions for further research. ER -
